Erin M. Arbour, BA, GSCI

Director of Operations

Graduate Student Counselor Intern

Master of Arts Candidate, Bradley University

Born and raised in Stuart, Florida, Erin is a Florida native. Most of her time at home is spent on the boat working with her father who is a commercial fisherman. Unsure of the career path she wanted to take after high school, she accepted a full ride scholarship to Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) to continue her academic and athletic career. Erin received her associates degree at EFSC graduating with a 3.8 GPA, was 2 nd team All-Conference for volleyball, and made the All-Academic team for both years she attended. After this, Erin transferred to the Florida Institute of Technology on a scholarship. It was during this transition where Erin took a strong interest and devotion to her career path.

Erin always knew she wanted to do something centered around psychology but was unsure of the exact direction she wanted to take. At the early age of 15, Erin was exposed to family trauma that changed her life forever. Erin’s career interests now align with helping individuals who have experienced trauma, more specifically, veterans and military personnel struggling with PTSD. Although Erin does not have any family members that have served, she believes prioritizing the mental health of those who have fought for our country is something of utmost importance.

Fast forward to today, Erin is a recent graduate of Florida Tech where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, meaning the highest distinction, and finished her bachelor’s degree with a 3.92 GPA. Erin was also given the Outstanding Student of the year award for the psychology department. The outstanding student of the year awards are awarded to well-rounded, active-student scholars who have made contributions to their academic program, university, and community. Erin is attending graduate school in the fall and plans to receive a master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health counseling and become a LMHC in the future.  When she is not working, Erin enjoys spending time at the beach with her husky, Oakley.
