Medication Management

Medication Management is an integral component of appropriate diagnosis, case conceptualization, and treatment of mental health disorders.  Our Psychiatrists and Physicians Assistants are very thoughtful and intentional in the diagnosis and treatment of presenting mental health symptoms.  Our medical staff specialize in both addiction and neurobiology and are fastidious in treatment of the whole person. At Beachside Recovery we support all evidenced based pathways to recovery including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in the forms of Vivitrol, Naltrexone, Suboxone, Subutex, Sublocade, and Spravado for the appropriate patients. Our Medical Team follows up with staff therapists regularly to ensure that our MAT patients are engaging in outpatient therapy consistent with best practices. Our Psychiatrist provides thorough individual sessions to ensure the efficacy of medication in the treatment of symptoms associated with the patient's diagnosis.  Additionally, our Psychiatrist and Medical Team work collaboratively with the Clinical Team to “treatment team” and discuss patients' progress, continuing care, and potential outcomes.
